Rose Hill Transport Ltd. was registered in 1954 and it regrouped 5 individual operators who were operating on Route No. 1 since 1952. It is listed on the Development Enterprise Market (DEM) of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius (SEM) since May 2001.

As from January 1st, 2009, the company has been restructured and as at to date Rose Hill Transport Ltd. is the holding company of 5 new corporate entities namely: RHT Bus Services Ltd., RHT Investments Ltd., RHT Properties Ltd., RHT Ventures Ltd. and RHT Fund Management Ltd.

RHT Bus Services Ltd. carries out all transport operations. It has a fleet of 88 buses including 12 air-conditioned vehicles and caters for the transport needs of more than 10M passengers annually.
